August was a very busy and colorful month in the world of kpop. A lot of big comebacks and great music.
15. Dash - M.I.B
14. Tonight - SPICA
13. MAMAMA - Tasty
12. Badman - B.A.P
11. No Love - MBLAQ
10. KARA's "Runaway"
The reason I love KARA's "Runaway" is simple. I like when songs have very clear pronunciations because it becomes easier to sing a long to the song especially when it's in Korean or Japanese or Mandarin. The girls looked pretty perf in the music video as well which is basically a preview of a short drama that they are releasing for the Cheoseok festival and I'm really excited to watch it. The song is simple in itself as well. Simple melodies and lyrics that make the song become addictive and meaningful. Great job KARA.

9. NU'EST's "Sleep Talking"
At first, I didn't really even like the song... But then I started playing it over and over and over and.... it just stuck to me. I find it hilarious that they actually have snoring sounds in the background of the song. I really like Ren's parts in the song and the chorus idrk why though. Ren looks like a girl ALMOST too much in this MV and I ALMOST feel bad for him but then I wonder if he likes that style. Aron and Minhyun look so hot do not even get me started. I wish Pledis would change their hair....
MY BIAS: Aron
8. Henry's "1-4-3" ft. Amber
Although I like "Trap" a lot better than "1-4-3" I became addicted to this... And as much as I love Amber (a lot) I actually like Henry's original rap better than her's. Sometimes when I sing this song I feel like I'm singing it in a way that sounds like I'm making fun of this song. The dance makes me laugh every time and I have no fucking idea why. But it does. And I see that SM doesn't allow Henry to dance in box sets hmmm....
7. Seungri's "Gotta Talk To U"
Everything about Seungri's comeback seems perfect to me. And I actually REALLY WANT HIS ALBUM /WHY AM I SO POOR?!?!?. Anyways. This song makes you dance and it's so repetitive it got stuck in my head so easy. I'M HUSTLIN HUSTLIN. Even though the MV is hella boring for a YG MV.... Seungri is still so hot god.
6. Ladies Code's "Hate You"
We waited so long for a Ladies Code comeback and it started to progress in August. I was disappointed that they didn't get to actually promote this song like they are getting to promote "Pretty Pretty" atm... But I'm glad they waited for Zunny to recover and didn't pull a SHINee "Why So Serious" on us. The song is also very simple like KARA's "Runaway" but I almost feel like the lyrics can tell a more in depth story. To me, the MV really shows how it feels to be in that relationship where you really hate someone yet you love them so much. The MV really goes with the concept perfectly.

5. ZE:A's "The Ghost Of Wind"
ZE:A finally made their comeback in August that I waited too long for. Seriously. And "The Ghost of Wind" is like THE BEST ZE:A SONG EVER IN MY OPINION. Last year when they released "Phoenix", that was my JAM. But I go 10x crazier for this song and actually went through this song ZE:A phase because of that. It reminds me of Nine Muses' "Dolls", I couldn't tell you why, and I'm a huge Nine Muses person so I really really loved everything about this. And I feel so accomplished that I can finally tell them all a part with the same hair color WOO.
MY BIAS: Hyungsik
4. Sunmi's "24 Hours"
Sunmi made her solo debut since leaving the Wonder Girls, but still under JYP, this August. And it rocked my world. I fell deeply in love with Sunmi and it's really hard to explain. She changed my perspective on the fact women with short hair are so sexy like omf. Her hair choice and color surprisingly went perfectly with the concept and actually gave it an elegant feel. A lot of female kpop artists try too hard to be sexy but Sunmi seemed to do it just right. It was perfect. I learned the dance. The song is so great omg.
3. Kang Seung Yoon's "Stealer"
Kang Seung Yoon is MY heart stealer. Ever since YG first released "It Rains" I knew that when this boy debuts with Team A, he will take over my life. Every song he has released so far makes me so happy and smile. Or cry. His voice gives that effect and that's why I love him. Seung Yoon is on YG's show "W.I.N" right now and he is on Team A, and not to be biased but I want Team A to win (maybe I'm a little biased) but seriously. This song and MV are perfect. I love the fact that lyrics are a story. The only thing is that he HAS A KISS SCENE no. no.
2. 2NE1's "Do You Love Me"
2NE1 released their second 2013 single and I liked "Do You Love Me" a lot more than "Falling In Love" and I really loved "Falling In Love". I still play this song to this day (last night actually) and sing all the words because I've memorized them. I like that Bom and Dara had more parts in this song and it wasn't all Minzy and CL like last time... And I think we can all agree that it's really fun to spell "D.O. Y.O.U. L.O.V.E. M.E."
MY BIAS: Bom
1. EXO's "Growl"
Surprise, surprise. Yeah well.... I love EXO and um. yeah. "Growl" is like my second favorite EXO song of all time after "Baby Don't Cry"... but I'm actually really proud of them because of all of their wins. And like ALL of my Korean friends like EXO now after this song where as before they never even payed attention to them. It's been really great to watch EXO blow up into this sensation in Korea and actually have Korean fans be biased towards the EXO-M members as well. My oppa's bias is Chen ouo. And my dongsaeng likes Luhan. I'm proud boys. I'm proud.
MY BIAS: Tao
