I thought September was kind of a slow month what do you guys think?
20. "Thank You My Dear" by LYn
19. "Crybaby" by Shin Ji Hoon
18. "Gangnam Street" by Orange Caramel
17. "I Think I'm In Love" by Juniel
16. "Taxi On The Phone" by Kidoh (ft. Sangdo)
15. F.CUZ's "Cha-Ga-Wa"
I don't think anyone understands how long I've been waiting for this comeback. I'm a HUGE F.CUZ fan and I didn't even know they were having a comeback... not sure how that happened but when I saw the thumbnail in my subscriptions I ALMOST DIED. The song has that F.CUZ old school feel and it's so addictive. It also has really nice lyrics which is always a plus in my opinion. I'm so happy to see my boys back in the kpop scene.
14. Jay Park's "So Good"
You see, Jay Park tried to make this song a Michael Jackson theme but really it just felt like Jay Park. If you know me, you know that I really love Jay Park and I get kind of emotional about him and oagohgoaWNS. He IS ultimate bias status and I think he's ideal type tbvh. Everything he does is amazing. Every song, every dance move, every photo shoot... I'm obsessed. I love this song, it was an amazing song to start out my school year. I'm proud to call myself a Jaywalker (:
13. T-ARA's "Sugar Free"
When I first heard "Sugar Free", I thought it was a TOTAL mess... I still think it's a mess, but I guess less of one. The MV is really distracting. The dance is really nice and I think that's my favorite part because it's really simple and I haven't seen a lot of that recently, I wasn't crazy for the song, until I listened to it without the MV. The song is actually HELLA catchy and Korea seemed to eat it up, so good job T-ARA. (:
12. TROY's "Why Are We"
The first time I heard this song, I fell in love. I love TROY so much. Everything they do as a group and as solos, just amazing. Bumkey, Jaewoong, Changwoo, and Kanto are all so talented I can't begin to explain. "Why Are We" is such an amazing song and kind of explains EVERYTHING I'm going through right now and it's getting me through a lot. THIS SONG AND GROUP ARE SOOOOOO UNDERRATED LIKE BYE BYE BYE.
11. SPICA.S's "Give Your Live"
One word to describe these promotions, boobs. Boobs everywhere. I miss Boa, she's my SPICA bias and the fact that she was the only member not in this unit kind of ruined it for me. HOPEFULLY SHE GETS SOLO PROMOTIONS OR SOMETHING BECAUSE YES. But this was definitely made for a male audience and "sex sells". But the song was really good ohohoho.
Bias: Bohyung (in this unit)
10. BtoB's "You're So Fly"
If I ever meet BtoB, I have one question to ask them, how do you make those ugly faces? They're so hilarious how the fuck can they be so attractive one second and then so ugly and hilarious the next. I laughed throughout this whole MV and Changbum is to blame. Also Eunkwang. Also EVERYONE. The best part is the end when Peniel says "OH MY GOOOOOOD". That made me die. Plus it's a really good song and dance as well (hit that nae nae)
9. MINX's "Why Did You Come To My Home?"
MINX was a sweet surprise that arrived in 2014. If you didn't know, MINX is Dal Shabet's sister group as they are under the same company, Happy Face Entertainment. I love the way Happy Face produces their girl groups. No one can take the place of Dal Shabet in my heart, but MINX is probably my favorite rookie girl group this year along with YE-A and Red Velvet. They definitely don't look, act, or sing like a rookie group. I think the thing that gets me besides having a great old-school kpop type debut song, is the fact that Siyeon can do whistle tones like YASSSSSSS. Whistle tones are my weakness.
8. Soyou & Urban Zakapa's "The Space Between"
Soyou never fails to produce great music that Korea falls in love with, huh? Starship really pairs her up with great people. First Mad Clown, then Junggigo, now the boys from Urban Zakapa. This type of music is type that I love that's why I'm glad it did well AGAIN. SISTAR is definitely Korea's favorite girl group, everything they do sells great and they never get in scandals. They are truly perfect. This MV is so cute as well starring Ahn Jae Hyun and Nam Bo Ra. Aigoooooo
7. Ailee's "Don't Touch Me"
Ailee is the queen and she'll slay your world no matter what she releases. She's so gorgeous and she rocks the stage with those fucking vocals of hers. Ailee, you're so important don't forget that. Although it's not one of my favorite songs that she's produced, I'm still obsessed with it and I think that it's the best thing that she could produce at the moment. The album is really nice as well. I can agree with everyone when I say that she didn't have to loose all the weight, but she still looks curvalicious in my opinion SOOOOOO
6. Song Jieun's "Don't Look At Me Like That"
Song Jieun is a perfect human being. There is a REASON TS keeps giving her solos. She's an amazing singer, yeah she can't hit all the high notes but she has AMAZING breathing control and she knows how to work her voice. She sings about the truth in this song though. If you haven't looked up the lyrics I definitely recommend you do. Basically it's about an idols life and how their fans look for so much from them and idols can't love whoever they want without hurting their fans "feelings". I think a lot about Taeyeon and Baekhyun's case when I listen to this song. This song could also be seen as a freedom anthem for the LGBT community as well. That's why it's so amazing.
5. Nasty Nasty's "Knock"
Before I get started, let me just say that if they add Sojin to Nine Muses, I WILL BE EXTREMELY HAPPY. Ok, also I hope Lee Hoo is gonna bring this fucking shitty company to position where they should have been all along. AND NO MORE RAPING TRAINEES BECAUSE ILLEGAL AND UNACCEPTABLE. Anyways I don't really care if people say this reminds them of Trouble Maker because obviously Trouble Maker WORKED so what company wouldn't want to try out that concept as well. The song is really good and the MV is really confusing. Good job Star Empire! (I'm being sarcastic.) But seriously this is my jam.
4. TaeTiSeo's "Holler"
Oh you thought this would be number 1 huh? Well I'm a SONE but I found this song not be as good as I hoped for. Now don't get me wrong, I think it's a great song and it's constantly stuck in my head, it just isn't as good as "Twinkle" and ugh. The fact that Jessica is my ultimate bias and she LEFT the group, I've kind of lost all hope in SM and I'm kind of over it. SNSD will always be nine and that's what ruined this album for me, sorry.
Bias: Seohyun (in this sub-unit)
3. John Park's "U"
If you don't know who John Park is, don't talk to me. John is so talented and underrated like. His voice is pure sex. All his songs are perfection and there is no reason that they shouldn't be number one on music charts. This song in particularly makes me feel some type of way. "U" is so beautiful and stalkerish and creepy but it's amazing. John I have no words to explain how much I love this song or you.
2. 2PM's "Go Crazy"
When this song first came out I thought it was stupid and way out of character for 2PM. Going from "A.D.T.O.Y" to "Go Crazy" was just TOO much for me. BUT THEN IT GOT STUCK IN MY HEAD AND I FELL IN LOVE. 2PM are a bunch of idiots whom I used to stan and I needed to realize that. Plus I got KhunFany interactions at music shows so I suppose all is well and great in my world. Thanks JYP for making them stupid!
1. TEEN TOP's "Missing"
I almost forgot how much I love TEEN TOP before this MV came out. This song is one of the most catchy songs this year. I'm ALWAYS singing it and I even got in a fight with my brother for playing it too much so I think it's an accurate representation of September. This song is just so good I can't really say much more.
Bias: Niel forever bye
